GERIATRIC CARE

When is it time to say goodbye?

Owning an animal is filled with many wondrous memories, endless happiness and smiles that could last a lifetime. But pets age much faster than we do, so it is essential to monitor your pet for any changes that could be happening. We recommend routine monitoring of their physical health every 6 months, and routine diagnostic care such as:

  • Bloodwork

  • Diagnostic imaging

  • Routine exams

If you are unsure if it is time to say goodbye, Fircrest Veterinary Hospital can assist you and your family in a quality of life exam to help assist in your decision.
